flickr update.

This is a project that I worked on in the spring of '08. The project was to create type in a three dimensional form and place it in a fitting environment. The word "winter" was fitting for the season for obvious reasons. The letters were installed around Lake Calhoun on a warm spring day.

ah, these are so lovely!

did you use a miniature chain saw to carve them?

that could've been adorable.

ACTUALLY— i went to the tiny chain saw store and they were all sold out! can you believe that???

so i just had to use a handsaw and a file.
